The Northlake HMIS Data Project recently conducted an analysis of Coordianted Access and Assement System (CAAS) data for the Northlake Homeless Coalition. Reviewing enrollments in CAAS in 2017 for St. Tammany Parish, they determined that 45% of all households served who were identified as residing in an emergency shelter, in a place not meant for human habitation, or facing evictions and would likely be homeless within 14 days, includes family units with children.
