2018 Community Evaluation Meeting

Make Your Voice Count! The NHC Community Evaluation will take place on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, 12:00 - 4:30 pm at the St. Tammany Parish Library, South Slidell Branch, 3901 Pontchartrain Boulevard, Slidell, LA 70458.

The purpose of the Community Evaluation, as outlined in the Community Evaluation Policy, is to ensure that funding decisions: (1) are conducted in a transparent, inclusive and community-driven process; (2) are data-driven, aligned with HUD system performance measures and reflect the needs of the community; and (3) are made to increase cost effectiveness and service delivery and prioritize those who are most vulnerable in the community in accordance with HUD CPD Notice 16-11: Notice on Prioritizing Persons Experiencing Chronic Homelessness and Other Vulnerable Homeless Persons in Permanent Supportive Housing.

The Community Evaluation meeting will consist of a training session, a ranking of renewal project applications and scoring proposals submitted in response to the Requests for Proposals (RFP) released as a part of the 2018 Continuum of Care (CoC) Application. All interested parties are invited to attend and participate in the Community Evaluation Process. Per the Community Evaluation Policy, conflicts of interest must be disclosed and only one vote per agency is allowed.
